Safe handling and manipulation of the gun is emphasized to build you into a safe and more proficient shooter. The majority of this course will be spent on the range! The most common reason for an individual to purchase a firearm is to be able to defend his/her family. This course delves into the use of force, aftermath as well as shooting techniques used in home defense. Course includes both classroom instruction and practical application of use of force and moving with a firearm through a building, with a focus on both individual movement and buddy movement using airsoft equipment.
This course will focus on the best practices in defensive rifle manipulation and setup. We will go over zeroing the rifle, fundamentals of marksmanship, presentation of the gun, and basic maintenance.
